One Love Films Ltd was founded in 2000 by Yvonne Deutschman and Shelaagh Ferrell to produce the movie "One Love" (2003) financed by the UK Film Council & Baker St Media Finance. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.

"One Love" won the "Audience Award - Best Film" at the Bahamas International Film Festival, "Best Actress" at the MTV Urbanworld Film Festival in New York, "Best Soundtrack" at the International Monaco Film Festival and "Film of the Year" for the African Heritage Film Series.

Yvonne directed and produced "Power of Three" her second feature film in 2011.

Based on Yvonne's experience in producing "One Love" and "Power of Three", she realises the key to getting a return from a film is to coordinate and control cash inflow through self-marketing and sales. The best chance of success (or least risk) in this, is to go to the micro budget end of the cost structure. Today this can be achieved by using the latest technologies in both production and web-based communication & sales to a niche target market.
 

Yvonne has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of film production. As well as directing and producing, she writes proposals and scripts, raises financing, is a camera operator and editor.
